Feel free to play a tune that really inspires me... 'Convento Di Sant' Anna', from the movie "The English patient". I use this music when I feel I can finally relax after hard work done. Time to play it for me!
On Day 1, I printed and stacked on my wall a thoughtful poster
ITERATIVE DESIGN... mmm... From the beginning of the Course I was immersed in a whole new universe with foreign vocabulary, so I decided to take baby steps and RESEARCH!
From iteration-design.org, I found interesting the five stages in the Design Thinking Process

EMPHASIZE       DEFINE        IDEATE      PROTOTYPE      TEST
I thought it was a good addition to the readings...
The highlight of the text from my perspective, was the concept of investing in technology to promote critical thinking, creativity, communication and collaboration skills. Furthermore, the awareness of judging credibility is also important. When we read from internet we should ask ourselves about who the author is, the purpose of the message and how the page has been curated; WHAT has been included and excluded and WHY.
SEVEN TIPS FOR A RETURN BRIEF
"Seven tips for a return brief" by Eco Design was an essential text to understand the process of dealing with a customer. After reading it, I was prepared to talk to the assigned partner of the Course in order to design The Gift Box.
Every step of the process was clearly described and I did not find any obstacles in understanding the main points. Personally, the words that sound louder were "BE CONCISE BUT COMPREHENSIVE". Normally, I don't have problems to be understood but I struggle to be concise. Definitely, something to keep in mind.
Probably one of my strengths is that most of the times I do what I say I will do. I smiled when I read about it in the text as I felt I was on the right track regarding customer service.
